5. Не устанавливайте оборудование в местах, где на него может попасть вода.
6. Производите очистку только сухой тканью.
7. Не перекрывайте вентиляционные отверстия. Устанавливайте оборудование в соответствии
с изложенными в Руководстве инструкциями.
8. Не устанавливайте оборудование рядом с источниками тепла, например, радиаторами системы
отопления, нагревателями, печами и другими излучающими тепло приборами (включая усилители
мощности).
9. Использование вилок с заданной полярностью (с контактами разной толщины) или с заземлением
(трехконтактных) служит для обеспечения безопасности пользователя. Не заменяйте их
самостоятельно. В случае необходимости обращайтесь к квалифицированным электрикам.
10. Не допускайте перегибания и пережимания сетевых проводов, не наступайте на них. Следите за тем,
чтобы кабель не был поврежден, особенно в непосредственной близости от вилки и/или точки
подключения провода к оборудованию.
11. Используйте только рекомендованные производителем аксессуары и дополнительные устройства.
12. Используйте только рекомендованные производителем или входящие в комплект поставки
тележки, стойки, треноги, столы и крепежные скобы. При работе с тележкой будьте
внимательны и осторожны, чтобы тележка с оборудованием не опрокинулась.
13. Отключайте оборудование во время грозы, а также в периоды длительного простоя.
14. Для проведения работ по обслуживанию оборудования следует обращаться к квалифицированным
специалистам. Сервисное обслуживание требуется в случаях повреждения сетевого провода/розетки,
при попадании жидкости внутрь корпуса, в случае падения оборудования, а также при появлении
любых других неполадок.
15. Для полного отключения питания прибора отсоедините кабель питания от розетки.
16. Прибор должен быть установлен так, чтобы розетка электросети находилась в доступном
для оператора месте.

17. ВНИМАНИЕ! Во избежание удара током или пожара никогда не допускайте намокания оборудования
или попадания его под дождь.
18. Не допускайте попадания воды на оборудование, никогда не ставьте на него емкости с жидкостью
(цветочные вазы и т.д.).
19. Для обеспечения нормальных вентиляции и охлаждения прибора оставляйте по меньшей мере 16 см
свободного пространства с тыльной стороны корпуса.
20. ВНИМАНИЕ! При установке усилителей в рэк не прокладывайте кабели и не размещайте другие
посторонние предметы по боковым сторонам прибора. Прежде чем вынимать прибор из рэковой
стойки, дайте ему остыть в течение по меньшей мере 2 минут.
21. Усилители и акустические системы, а также наушники (если они используются) в состоянии
воспроизводить звук с опасной для здоровья человека громкостью. При работе со звуковым
оборудованием будьте внимательны, устанавливайте безопасный уровень громкости.
22. ЗАМЕЧАНИЕ: по результатам тестирования данный прибор признан соответствующим требованиям
класса Б (Class B) для цифрового оборудования (раздел 15 правил FCC). Данные стандарты определяют
допустимый уровень вредного для здоровья излучения в жилых помещениях. Данный прибор
генерирует, использует и может излучать электромагнитные волны радиочастотного диапазона
и в случае нарушения изложенных ниже правил и ограничений может генерировать радиочастотные
помехи. Гарантировать полное отсутствие подобных помех в том или ином помещении не
представляется возможным. Если при использовании данного оборудования наблюдаются серьезные
помехи при работе расположенных вблизи телевизионных и радиоприемников, пользователь должен
попытаться уменьшить уровень помех с помощью следующих методов:
• Изменить ориентацию приемной антенны в пространстве.
• Увеличить расстояние между оборудованием и радиоприборами.
• Подключить оборудование и радио-/телевизионные приборы к разным фазам электросети.
• Обратиться к квалифицированному специалисту или по месту приобретения оборудования.
Внимание! Внесение модификаций в конструкцию данного оборудования без письменного одобрения
компании-производителя оборудования может привести к аннулированию гарантии.
23. ВНИМАНИЕ! Соблюдайте правила безопасности при использовании внутренних или внешних
источников питания:
• Батареи, а также прибор, в который установлены батареи, не должны подвергаться воздействию прямого
солнечного света или располагаться вблизи открытого огня, батарей отопления, нагревательных
приборов и т. д.
• При неправильной установке/подключении батарей питания возможен взрыв. Производите замену
батарей только на полностью аналогичные.
24. ВНИМАНИЕ! Перед тем, как дотрагиваться руками до колб электровакуумных ламп, отключите питание
оборудования и дайте ему полностью остыть.
25. ВНИМАНИЕ! Подключайте оборудование только к розетке, оснащенной заземлением. Перед
отключением заземления обязательно отключайте кабель питания от розетки электросети.
26. Оборудование класса Class I (с трехконтактной вилкой с заземлением) должно подключаться к
розетке, оснащенной заземляющим контактом.

Предисловие
Поздравляем с приобретением звукоусилительной системы Fender® Passport® Venue! Passport — это
самодостаточная, портативная усилительная система, в которой есть все необходимое для получения
великолепного звука именно там, где это необходимо! Вы можете просто переносить свой Passport, как самый
обычный чемодан. В нужный момент просто откройте крышку и отстегните замки, чтобы получить в свое распоряжение две полнодиапазонные колонки, активный микшер, микрофон и полный комплект коммутационных кабелей.
Систему Passport можно использовать для оповещения или воспроизведения текстовых сообщений, а также для
подключения музыкальных инструментов или озвучивания вокала. С ней можно скоммутировать любой источник
звукового сигнала, такой как MP3-проигрыватель, CD-проигрыватель или ноутбук. Также предусмотрен разъем
USB, к которому можно подключить флеш-накопитель. Для записи исполнения достаточно просто подключить
USB-накопитель и нажать на кнопку RECORD.
Система Passport настраивается очень быстро и просто, однако при этом способна озвучить достаточно большую

Настройка системы
1. Откройте защелки кабинетов, расположенные на верхней стороне Passport и отсоедините
акустические системы от секции активного микшера.
2. Для получения оптимального звучания установите акустические системы на стойки Passport Speaker
Stand или на устойчивую плоскую поверхность и разнесите их на достаточное расстояние
для получения хорошего стереоэффекта. Расположите микшер поблизости от оператора/исполнителя,
чтобы обеспечить оперативный доступ к панели управления.

PASSPORT® VENUE SERIES 2
Congratulations on purchasing a Fender® Passport Venue Series 2 audio system—a
self-contained portable audio system designed for great sound anywhere. Carry
Passport like a suitcase, and simply flip open the cabinet-release latches to
access two full-range speaker cabinets, a powered mixer, and power and speaker
cables.
Use Passport as a public address system or to amplify musical instruments and
vocals. Connect mobile devices for easy accompaniment, including Bluetooth
audio streaming.
Passport’s quick and easy setup, its ability to cover large audiences and its
simple operation are the hallmarks of this innovative product. Its control
panel features mono mic/line channels and stereo line channels with a variety
of input and output jacks to provide superb flexibility.

SYSTEM SETUP

OPEN: Flip open cabinet latches on top of Passport and detach speaker cabinets from powered mixer section:

PLACEMENT: For optimal results, elevate speaker cabinets on Passport speaker stands or sturdy tables. Place the speakers far apart to maximize stereo separation. Position mixer close by for easy access to control panel:

SPEAKER CABLE/POWER CORD STORAGE: Open storage compartment on rear of mixer and remove power cord and speaker cables:

POWER CORD/SPEAKER CABLE CONNECTION : Plug speaker cables into left and right speaker jacks on back of the mixer (upper right arrow), then connect corresponding left and right speakers. Make sure power switch is off before connecting power cord (included) into power inlet on back of mixer (lower left arrow); plug other end into a grounded AC power outlet:

INPUTS Connect microphones to channels 1 through 4; connect other mono sound sources such as instruments to any channel. Use channel 7/8 and 9/10 inputs for stereo/mono sound sources such as keyboards, other line-level audio sources, and mobile devices:

INITIAL VOLUME/REVERB: Turn MASTER VOLUME knob, all channel VOLUME knobs and all REVERB knobs fully counterclockwise to start

POWER UP: Turn on all external equipment connected to Passport first, then turn Passport on. Power LED will illuminate green: SETTING MASTER VOLUME: Turn MASTER VOLUME up to 1/4 volume:

SETTING LEVELS: Connect a microphone or other sound source and slowly turn up that channel’s VOLUME control. LED above VOLUME control will illuminate green when signal is present. LED will illuminate yellow when signal is approaching clipping level; will illuminate red when clipping (distortion) occurs. For best performance, set channel VOLUME and TONE controls so that LED is green and occasionally yellow. If LED turns red, reduce VOLUME or TONE control settings. If LED is still turning red after adjusting VOLUME and TONE controls, press MIC/LINE button in

SETTING LEVELS: Connect a microphone or other sound source and slowly turn up that channel’s VOLUME control. LED above VOLUME control will illuminate green when signal is present. Adjust each channel the same way. Use channel VOLUME knobs to set relative
loudness of each channel for overall balance, then adjust MASTER VOLUME knob
for overall mix loudness. MASTER VOLUME has a SIGNAL LEVEL METER just to the
right; if meter illuminates red, decrease MASTER VOLUME accordingly. -
SETTING TONE/REVERB: Starting with each TONE control (TREBLE, BASS) in the center-détente position (flat equalization), set each TONE control to preference for best clear and consistent sound coverage throughout the area. REVERB controls are not center détente; set these to preference:
FRONT PANEL
A. MASTER VOLUME: Adjusts overall loudness. No sound is produced at full
counterclockwise position.
B. SIGNAL LEVEL METERS: Indicate left/right power amp output signal
level. If meters illuminate red, reduce MASTER VOLUME (A) to prevent
distortion and avoid amp overload/shutdown (see item V, POWER/PROTECT LED, to
reset unit after protect mode shutdown).
C. TONE: Adjusts overall tonal character, with “flat” response at center-
detente position. Rotate clockwise to boost high frequencies and reduce lows;
counterclockwise to reduce highs and boost lows.
D. REVERB SELECT: Press to select one of two reverb types.
“Reverb 1” produces dark hall to bright plate reverb depending on REVERB TONE
(E) setting, with short to long diffusion depending on REVERB TIME (E)
setting. “Reverb 2” produces medium dark to bright hall reverb depending on
REVERB TONE (E) setting, with short to long diffusion depending on REVERB TIME
(E) setting.
E. REVERB TIME/TONE: TIME adjusts reverb “tail” length; TONE adjusts
reverb tonal character.
F. SIGNAL/CLIP LED: Illuminates green when signal is present; yellow when
signal level is -10dB away from clipping. Illuminates red during clipping (see
step 9 under SYSTEM SETUP).
G. CHANNEL VOLUME: Adjusts individual channel loudness.
H. TREBLE/BASS: Adjusts individual channel treble and bass tone, with
“flat” response at center-detented position.
I. REVERB: Adjusts individual channel reverb effect.
J. MIC/LINE SWITCH: For channels 1 through 4 only; if signal source level
is too high (see step 9 under SYSTEM SETUP), press in to reduce input
sensitivity by 24dB.
K. PHANTOM POWER: Press to supply 48V phantom power to channels 1 through
4. NOTE: Use caution when using ribbon microphones, as not all are compatible
with phantom power.
L. MONO CHANNEL INPUT: For channels 1 through 4 only; XLR and 1/4” input
for microphones, instruments and other mono line-level sources.
M. LINE/INSTRUMENT SWITCH: For channels 5 and 6 only, switch activates
high-impedance (“Hi-Z”) preamp for passive instruments such as electric
guitars and basses. For line-level input or if clipping (distortion) occurs,
disengage switch.
N. PAIR BLUETOOTH: For channel 9/10 only; press for Bluetooth pairing
with external devices. When button is flashing blue, select “PASSPORT VENUE”
in external device Bluetooth menu. Button will stop flashing and illuminate
blue continuously when connection is successful. Press and hold button to
disconnect Bluetooth. For best sound quality, set volume control on external
device (i.e., smart phone) to 75-100 percent of its maximum level.
O. 1/4”-ONLY MONO CHANNEL INPUT: For channels 5 and 6 only; 1/4” input
for instruments and other line-level sources.
P. 1/4” LEFT (MONO)/RIGHT INPUT: For channels 7/8 and 9/10 only; inputs
for line-level stereo audio sources requiring separate 1/4” jacks for each
channel. Using stereo L/MONO jack by itself functions as mono channel; mono
output will be heard from both speakers.
Q. 1/8” STEREO INPUT: For channels 7/8 and 9/10 only; input for mobile
devices, computers and other line-level stereo audio sources with 1/8”
connection.

S. LEVEL CONTROL: Adjusts HEADPHONE OUTPUT (R) and MONO OUTPUT (T) signal
levels.
T. MONO OUTPUT: For connection to a powered monitor. Signal level is pre-
MASTER VOLUME (A); can be adjusted using LEVEL CONTROL (S).
U. SUB OUTPUT: For connection to a powered subwoofer. Set subwoofer
crossover frequency control to 120Hz. Use subwoofer’s volume or level control
to set bass level to preference. External subwoofer use automatically removes
signals below 120Hz from main Passport amp and speakers.
V. POWER/PROTECT LEDS: POWER LED illuminates green when system is on.
Passport features internal protection measures that will shut down audio
output in the event of electrical or thermal problems; PROTECT LED will
illuminate red when this happens. Passport will automatically reset itself on
resolution of such problems. If Passport does not reset automatically, check
fuse in power cord socket on rear panel (Y). If PROTECT LED remains
illuminated after unit has had sufficient cooling time and other power outlets
have been tried, consult an authorized Fender Service Center.
REAR PANEL
W. VOLTAGE SELECTOR: Change the setting of this 100V/120V– 220V/240V
switch only when using Passport in a country that requires a different voltage
setting.
X. POWER: Turns Passport on and off.
Y. POWER CORD SOCKET/FUSE: Connect power cord (included) to this socket;
plug other end into a grounded AC outlet in accordance with correct VOLTAGE
SELECTOR (W) setting. To check/replace fuse, unplug power cord and pry fuse
holder from POWER CORD SOCKET; replace fuse only with another of the same type
and rating.
Z. SPEAKER OUTPUTS: Connect Passport speaker cables (included) here.
