Welcome
Welcome to the user guide for the Dialog 4223 Professional and
Dialog 4225 Vision system telephones in the Ericsson MD110
Communication System, D4 mode. It is a state-of-the-art business
communications system. Its alliance of features and facilities
effectively improves communications for virtually any kind of
organization.
There is a line of telephones designed for easy use in every
situation to take full advantage of these advanced features and
facilities.
Function descriptions that do not include speaking in the handset,
are described off hook, if nothing else is stated. Instead of pressing
the Clear key, you can always replace the handset.
Some markets use differing codes for some functions. In this guide,
all functions are described using the most common code. The
markets and their differing code is shown as a side note.
The user guide describes the facilities of the Dialog 4223
Professional and Dialog 4225 Vision system telephones as they
are programmed at delivery from the factory. There may be some
differences in the way your phone is programmed. Please consult
your system administrator if you need further information.

6 Triple Access Line
For handling calls. Line 1 and 2 are available both for incoming and

of replacing the handset.

D4 mode information
The Dialog 4223 Professional phone can be connected to the
exchange in two different modes (user interfaces), either D3 mode,
or D4 mode. There is one user guide for each mode.
To find out the mode for your telephone, check the right hand side
of the second row of the display (see picture), when the telephone
is in idle mode:
• No extension number is shown (i.e. blank) — your telephone is
using D4 mode = This is the correct guide.
• Extension number is shown — your telephone is using D3 mode
= This is not the correct guide, download the user guide from:

The following different tones and signals are sent from the
exchange to your phone.
Tone characteristics
The tones shown in this section are the most used tones
worldwide. Many markets use a differing tone for one or more
situations.

Ring signals
Three different ring signals inform you about the type of the
incoming call. The signals shown in this section are the most used
signals worldwide. Many markets use signals that are adapted for
the local standards. If you get a signal that is not described or you
cannot identify, ask your system administrator.

Description
Display information
The display gives you feedback information such as time and date,
traffic state and connected phone numbers. The following displays
show examples of the different states your phone is in.
Notes:
The order in which the date is stated is system dependent.
All names and numbers presented on the displays in this
user guide are examples.
When an information ends with three dots (…), this means that the
system is working or waiting for your action. When an information
ends with an exclamation mark (!), this means that no further action
is possible.
Your phone has a graphical display. The number of rows and
characters per row are dependent on the character size and the
font. When the display shows a list, or when the phone is in a
setting mode, the middle field of the display is adapted to fit each
situation.

Ringer off.

Volume level bar.
Indicates the ring signal volume in idle or ringing mode, or in
speech mode the loudspeaker or earpiece volume. For the Dialog
4223 Professional, the symbol is shown for a few seconds when a
volume key has been pressed.

Free Seating (optional)
The Free Seating function is used for persons who have an office
extension number but no phone set of their own. For example,
flexible office workers, persons mostly working outside the office,
etc. As a Free Seating user and working from the office, you logon
to any free phone set that temporarily will be assigned with your
extension number and your system authorities.

Ваш телефон R520 работает
в
трех диапазонах
частот
(GSM 900/1800/1900), и это означает, что им
можно пользоваться почти во всех странах мира. Он
обладает широким набором функций, обеспечиваю
щих надежную и эффективную работу, где бы вы ни
находились.
Телефон R520 поддерживает технологию
GPRS
(General Packet Radio Service), обеспечивающую
передачу данных пакетами с очень высокой
скоростью. Это является большим преимуществом,
например, при пользовании WAP-броузером, так как
будучи подключенным в течение всего времени, вы
оплачиваете только сумму загружаемых данных.
Другой услугой, обеспечивающей быструю связь,
является
HSCSD
(High Speed Circuit Switched Data).
Телефон Н520содержитвстроенную беспроводную
технологию
Bluetooth™.
Короткодиапазонные
радиолинии позволяют обеспечить беспроводное
соединение вашего телефона с другими устройства

Для пользования телефоном необходимо
выполнить следующее:

31М-КАРТА
Оператор сети выдал вам 31М-карту, которая
содержит информацию о номере вашего телефона,
об услугах, включенных в ваш абонемент, а также ваш
телефонный справочник и многое другое.

Установка и удаление Б1М-карты

Выньте батарею, воли она находится в телефо
не. Вставьте 31М-карту в паз под серебряные
держатели таким образом, чтобы золотые контакты
были обращены вниз.
2.
Чтобы вынуть 31М-карту, поднимите ее за угол и
вытяните.
БАТАРЕЯ
В комплект поставки телефона входит литиевая
батарея. При покупке телефона батарея не заряжена,
но ее заряда может быть достаточно для включения

елефона.
Установка батареи
► Поместите батарею на задней стороне телефона и
нажмите до защелкивания.
Когда надо заряжать батарею
Заряжать батарею, поставляемую о телефоном,
можно в любое время, это не влияет на ее характери
стики. Заряжать батарею можно и в то время, когда
телефон выключен. Отом, что батарею пора
зарядить или заменить другой, заряженной
батареей, вам напомнят:
►Короткий звуковой сигнал и сообщение на дисплее
Attention! Battery lovy (Внимание! Батарея
разряжена).
► Мигающий красным светом световой индикатор
вверхутелефона.
При использовании батареи, рекомендованной
фирмой Ericsson, вы можете контролировать
оставшееся время разговора и ожидания с помощью
меню
Status (Статус),
перемещая вверх и вниз
клавишу регулировки громкости в режиме ожидания.
Суммарное оставшееся время разговора и ожидания
может меняться в зависимости от условий сети.
Помните, что эти величины являются приблизитель
ными, и времени у вас может остаться на 10%
меньше, чем показано на дисплее.

Индикация процесса зарядки:
►индикатор заряда батареи на дисплее непрерывно
пульсирует;
►индикатор вверху телефона непрерывно светится
красным светом (или зеленым, если телефон
включен);
►на дисплее кратковременно появляется сообщение
Optimized charging (Оптимизированная
заряжа).
Примечание:
до появления индикации о зарядке на
дисплее
может
пройт и несколько минут , если вы
заряжает е новую, полност ью разряженную бат арею
или бат арею, не использовавш ую ся в т ечение
длит ельного времени.
Когда батарея зарядится полностью, индикатор ее
заряда на дисплее заполнится, а индикатор вверху
телефона будет непрерывно светиться зеленым
светом.
ПОДГОТОВКА ТЕЛЕФОНА К PASOTE
Для обеспечения наилучшей зарядки батареи,
длительного времени разговора и ожидания
рекомендуется использовать только батареи,
разрешенные к использованию фирмой Ericsson.
Отключение зарядного устройства
Поверните вилку вверх.
Удаление батареи

Для того чтобы выполнять и принимать вызовы,
надо включить телефон и находиться в зоне действия
сети.
ВКЛЮЧЕНИЕТЕЛЕФОНА
Нажмите и удерживайте клавишу N0 (НЕТ), пока
не услышите звуковой сигнал.
PIN-код
Большинство SIM-карт защище
но PIN-кодом (Персональным
Идентификационным Номером).
PIN-код выдается оператором сети
и используется для доступа к сети. Если после
включения телефона на дисплее появляется запрос
PIN:, выполните следующие действия:
1.
Введите ваш PIN-код. Если при вводе вы
ошиблись, удалите неправильную цифру нажатием
клавиши C5D-
Z. Нажмите клавишу YES (ДА).
Если PIN -код введен неправильно три раза подряд,
SIM-карта блокируется.
ОСНОВНЫЕ ФУНКЦИИ
Разблокировать ее можно с помощью PUK-кода
{Персонального Кода Разблокировки), который вы
также получитеу оператора сети. См. раздел
«Блокировка SIM-карты» на стр. 113.
Если на дисплее появляется сообщение Phone
locked (Телефон заблокирован), введите свой
код блокировки телефона. См. раздел «Блокировка
телефона» на стр. 114.
Поиск сети
Послетого как вы включили телефон (и ввели свой
PIN-код), телефон ищет сеть. Когда сеть будет
найдена, телефон издаст три коротких звуковых
сигнала. Индикатор вверху телефона замигает
зеленым светом, а на дисплее появится имя
оператора сети (в большинстве случаев в виде
аббревиатуры). Этот режим называется режимом
ожидания. Теперь вы можете выполнять и принимать
вызовы.

ВЫПОЛНЕНИЕ ВЫЗОВА

. Введите код региона и номер телефона (учтите,
что в некоторых странах коды регионов не использу
ются).
Перед выполнением вызова можно изменить
номер телефона о помощью клавиши
2. Нажмите клавишу YES (ДА).

Для завершения вызова нажмите клавишу

Использование списка вызовов
Набранные вами номера всегда сохраняются в
Call list (Списке вызовов).
Если ваш абонемент
включаетуслугу определения номера абонента, а
сеть вызывающего абонента передает его номер
телефона, в списке вызовов вы найдете также
номера телефонов принятых и упущенных вызовов (и
имена абонентов, если они хранятся в вашем
телефонном справочнике). Если поступает вызов от
запрещенного абонента, на дисплее появляется
сообщение
Withheld (Отказано).
При поступлении
вызова от неизвестного абонента на дисплее
появляется сообщение
Unknovm (Неизвестен).
Вы можете удалить номер из списка нажатием
клавиш
YES (ДА).
В списке номеров хранятся:

Последние 30 входящих и исходящих вызовов
хранятся вместе в хронологическом порядке.
Первым в описке стоит последний сделанный вызов.
Если один и тот же номер набирался несколько раз,
последний
вызов
замещает
ранее
сделанные.
Если
вы проверяете вызовы, состоявшиеся в течение 24
часов, на дисплее отображается время вызова, в
противном случае вместо времени указывается дата.
Набрать номер из списка вызовов:

. В режиме ожидания нажмите клавишу YES (ДА).

выделите нужный номер телефона. Перед набором

Ваш телефон Ericsson поддерживает вызов
международных номеров экстренной помощи 112,
911 и 08. Это означает, что эти номера можно
использовать для вызова экстренной помощи в
любой стране, если вы находитесь в зоне действия
сети GSM. Вызов экстренной помощи можно
выполнять со вставленной SIM-картой или без нее.

При поступлении вызова телефон звонит, а на

Answer? (Ответить?),
Если вы подписаны на услугу определения номера
абонента, а сеть вызывающего абонента передает
его номер телефона, этот номер появится на
дисплее. При поступлении вызова о запрещенного
номера телефона на дисплее появится сообщение
Withheld (Отказано).
При поступлении вызова от
неизвестного абонента на дисплее появляется
сообщение
Unknown (Неизвестен).
Ответ на вызов
► Чтобы ответить на вызов, нажмите клавишу
YES (ДА).
ОСНОВНЫЕ ФУНКЦИИ
Отказ от ответа на вызов
►Дважды сдвиньте клавишу регулировки громкости на
боковой стороне телефона или нажмите
NO (НЕТ).
На дисплее появится сообщение
Busy tone
(Сигнал «занято»). Абонент услышит сигнал
«занято», если эта услуга поддерживается его
подпиской. Если включена функция переадресации
вызовов «Если занят», вызов будет переадресован на
ранее заданный вами номер телефона. См. раздел
“Переадресация вызовов» на стр. 101.
Упущенные вызовы
Если вы упустили вызов, на дисплее в режиме
ожидания появится сообщение
Missed calls: 1
(Упущенные вызовы: 1 ), где указано количество
упущенных вызовов, в данном случае 1.
