Step 3:
While you’re connecting and setting up, lower the fader
on your mixer channel to off. Connect a mic cable from
the Left/(mono) Out to a mic input on your sound
system.
Step 4:
Connect a 1/4” guitar cable from your electric or
acoustic guitar to the INST IN. For now, we won’t use
the THRU so the guitar sound will be mixed with your
voice and effects. It will come out of the Left (mono)
main output.

Step 5:
Set the Input Knob fully left then set the Guitar, FX and
Harmony knobs to the 12 O’Clock position.
Step 6:
Connect Harmony-G XT’s power adapter to main
power and to the Power input on Harmony-G XT.There
is no power switch so plugging it in automatically turns
it on.

While singing through your microphone, raise the Input
Knob until the Input Light turns green, sometimes
orange on louder parts, but never red.
Step 8:
In preparation for your first listen, check that the LEDs
conform to the status shown in the boxes below. You
can press the button associated with the LEDs to change
them if necessary.

Quick Start Guide
(1) Input knob Adjust the input gain so that the adjacent LED lights green while you sing, and occasionally lights orange during the loudest peaks.
(2) Tone button A single press activates or deactivates AdaptiveTone to make your voice smoother and brighter, indicated by a solid LED when engaged. A double click activates or deactivates auto-chromatic pitch correction to provide subtle pitch support, indicated by a periodic flash of the LED when engaged. When both effects are engaged, the LED will light solid except for periodically flashing off.
(3) Guitar knob Controls the guitar volume when the THRU jack is not used. The far left Auto position automatically balanced your guitar volume with your voice. Just above the Auto setting is an Off setting that mutes the guitar.
(4) FX knob Adjusts the mix level of the effect selected with the FX button.
(5) Harmony knob Adjusts the mix level of the harmony and double effects.
(6) Preset button Press to cycle through the 5 presets shown in the display. Hold the Preset button to save changes made to the current preset.
(7) 48V LED Hold the Manual and Double buttons for 2 seconds to engage phantom power for use with condenser microphones.
(8) Manual button Press to allow the guitar signal to dictate the harmonies. Details of this function are discussed in the full manual.
(9) Double button Press to simulate the sound of two of you singing in unison.
(10) Voice 1/2 buttons Press either of the Voice buttons to select a harmony interval. Details of this function are discussed in the full manual. Hold both buttons to select stereo or mono operation.
(11) FX button Press to cycle through the available effect styles for the current preset. When no LEDs are lit, the effects are bypassed.

(12) Preset A/B footswitch Tapping the footswitch will toggle between the presets assigned to slot A and B. Hold the footswitch to enter Preset Select mode for the current slot (A or B), which allows the footswitch to cycle through all 5 saved presets.
(13) On/Bypass footswitch Tapping the footswitch engages or disengages the doubling and harmony effects in the current preset, leaving the reverb/delay effects active. Holding the footswitch will enter Tuner/Bypass mode, which mutes the guitar signal and bypasses all vocal effects except for Tone.
(14) USB port Connect to a computer for firmware updates and support.
(15) Power input Connect the included power adapter. (12 V DC, 300 mA, tip negative)
(16) OUTPUTS Connect to a mixer via XLR cables.
(17) INST IN/THRU Connect your guitar to the IN jack, then connect the THRU to other guitar pedals or an amplifier.
(18) MIC INPUT Connect your microphone via XLR cable.
(19) GND If you hear a buzz when you plug in a cable from the THRU to your amp or PA, press this button in. If
