Соместно с недельным таймером PW-6242A может работать по расписанию. На передней панели устройства располагаются USB порт, выход для подключения наушников и рганы управления. Блок управляется недельным таймером или маршрутизатором ER-6116 по протоколу RS-232. Через USB порт возможно загружать MP3 файлы во внутреннюю память устройства.
