Yup. talk about preferences. Alright. so let’s. Well, first of all what’s the big deal about preferences. Why is it? why? why would it why the typical flex user care about preferences and settings and flexing. Oh well, that’s a good question.Alexa, who is constantly going and having to change the settings right like it doesn’t remember their settings. The way you can actually go into flexi and set it up exactly the way you normally use flexi everyday and so everything just works a lot smoother so show us where those things are so we’ll gonna be talking. We’re gonna start with the flexi side first and then we’re gonna go jump over to production manager and talk about some signs out there too awesome. So let’s jump over there and see what we got so first thing is gonna be your. Under Edit, we’re gonna go to preferences and this is gonna be our main preferences screen. Now there’s several things in here that we can do in terms of on this general tab. Wow. This is also kinda tied to the undo thing a little bit, but depending on again, this stuff gets started in memory.If I open the file backup, it doesn’t like save those in trash. I could throw away the original file that it came with Flex is gonna have all that data built into the flexi file. It’s now part of that fire that’s probably found now.Link will save you hard to space but the Advantage here is that you always have to have the linked file in the exact same place that you drive and dropped it from so that that document that I pulled in from the desktop if I put that soap anywhere else right in a folder anywhere, all of a sudden open a flex and then say, hey, Where’s that file you can’t find the file I can’t find it so why would you do that. Why would you just you want smaller file sizes, small file sizes. This happens a lot in when I went to school and we learned a lot about this in the pre press type stuff.We would design everything and then we would put everything in specific folders that that’s where those resources we’re gonna be right so that if the designer ever had to pull those resources out or grab it or access to it, they could grab those resources separately from the file copy or whatever right so. Thinking like I said you can it can reduce the amount cuz then you will have copies and a copy inside of the flexi file to be honest with you.
