Перед нами знакомая черно-оранжевая коробка, на которой изображен Aegis Hero 2, логотип компании, название устройства, его краткие характеристики и аватарка обзорщика Rip Trippers, принявшего участие в создании этой расцветки. Сзади же написаны чуть больше спеков, комплектация и информация о производителе.

Внутри нас ожидает сам Аегис Хиро 2, макулатура, запасной испаритель (другой уже установлен в бак), фирменный кабель Type-C и ключ для извлечения испариков. Комплектация стандартная для Гиков, другого и не ожидаешь.

Внешний вид

Форм-фактор у GeekVape H45 Aegis Hero 2 остался прежним – эдакий «коробок», сверху которого видна часть пластикового картриджа. В нашем случае мы можем долго любоваться оригинальной расцветкой, но давайте уже переходить к сути.

Выглядит Аегис Хиро 2 H45 приятно, металлический корпус ощущается довольно легким и компактным. Окрашен он матовой краской (скорее всего, это анодирование), а декоративная рамка, напротив, отливает глянцем. Радует, что из-за белого цвета отпечатки на ней будут практически незаметны. Сзади же расположилась мягкая вставка из эко-кожи, на которой имеется гравировка в виде подписи Rip Trippers. На нижней грани находится силиконовая накладка, благодаря которой Подик уверенно стоит на поверхности.

Дисплей тут цветной, хоть при первом включении и кажется, что это далеко не так, поскольку встречает нас девайс инвертированным черно-белым интерфейсом. Настроить его можно следующим образом: нажимаем Fire 3 раза, а затем одновременно зажимаем «+» и «–», темы будут переключаться по очереди.

Ради интереса взвешиваем подопытного и видим значение 110 грамм. Многовато для компактного Пода, но карман девайс оттягивать точно не будет.

Под картриджем все стандартно – видим пару магнитов и два контакта, через которые ток подается к испарителю.

Эксплуатация

Активируется Аегис Хиро 2 исключительно кнопкой, датчика затяжки сюда не завезли, да и потребности в нем тут нет. Девайс выдает от 5 до 45 Ватт мощности, регулировка осуществляется с шагом в 0.5 Ватт. Из режимов здесь есть POWER (Вариватт) и Bypass, который непонятно зачем нужен в такой Под-системе. Кстати, автоподбора мощности тут нет, так что постарайтесь случайно не спалить испарики при смене сопротивления.

Что по другим настройкам? Одновременным зажатием «плюса» и «минуса» GeekVape H45 Aegis Hero 2 можно заблокировать и разблокировать, при этом Fire продолжает работать. Яркость регулируется одновременным зажатием кнопки активации и «+» либо «–» в зависимости от того, в какую сторону вы хотите крутить значение.

Картридж Аегис Хиро 2 вмещает 4 мл, что вполне неплохо для таких габаритов. При этом через пластик довольно хорошо просматривается уровень оставшейся жижи. Заправочное отверстие удобно расположилось сверху, благодаря чему доставать бачок из Пода не понадобится – просто открываем заглушку и заливаем жижу.

Сменные испарители тут используются всем знакомые, это линейка B Series, известная нам еще с первых Бустов. Разброс по сопротивлению тут достаточно широкий, есть варианты как для свободной, так и для тугой затяжки. Выполнены испарители на сетке, что обещает хорошую вкусопередачу и большие облака пара. Единственным минусом этих испариков можно назвать то, что порой их крайне сложно извлечь из резервуара, поэтому производитель положил в коробку специальный ключ.

Перед тем, как начать использовать H45 Aegis Hero 2, следует пропитать испаритель. Для этого смачиваем всю видимую в проточках вату и отправляем пару капель в шахту.

Мы тестировали Под Аегис H45 на обоих комплектных испариках и по вкусопередаче скажем следующее: она здесь стандартная. Вкусно, насыщенно, но сетка добавляет немного лишней сладости – впрочем, это особенность данных нагревателей. Испарик на 0.4 Ом ожидаемо оказался лучше, 0.6 является уже переходным вариантом между DL и MTL. В девайс отлично подойдут фруктовые и ягодные миксы, с табачкой лучше не экспериментировать.

Зарядка

GeekVape заявляют, что Аегис Хиро 2 способен принять до 2А тока, так давайте же проверим, как дела обстоят на самом деле.

В итоге получаем примерно 1.6А вместо ожидаемых 2А, зашло же в аккумулятор 1187 мАч. В целом некритично, все в пределах нормы.

Конечно, за это Подик расплачивается сниженной емкостью батареи, но тут на помощь приходит быстрая зарядка.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Turn on/Turn off: Press the Fire button 5 times in quick succession within 2s to turn on the device. The screen will begin to display the company logo.

2. Vaping: Press and hold the fire button to start to vape.

3. Mode Setting: In the main interface, click the fire button 3 times in quick succession with 2s to enter mode setting
state; press the “+/-” button to cycle select between Power/Bypass mode; press and hold the fire button for 1s to confirm and exit the mode setting or no operation in 2s, the device will automatically save and exit the mode setting.
